We at EmpowerU believe it takes a village mindset to support and cultivate the minds of future generations. It takes collective support from within the home and throughout the community to ensure our youth have a bright future in this dynamic and constantly changing world.
For the many Caribbean and minority students, there is little to no support to aid in the transition from high school into college or launching a small business or career. This may be due to a lack of resources, financial opportunities, and connections to foreign nations like the US, Canada, and Europe.
We at EmpowerU aim to bridge this gap by offering a series of college preparation services for free, academic scholarships, and grants based on financial need. In partnership with local, regional, and international organizations in academics, technology, and career development, we aim to empower the next generation of the Caribbean and minority leaders and do-ers. We aim to work with the various Governing institutions throughout the region to arm our leaders with the facts to drive policy and program development to aid in youth and career development.

Volunteer
No matter what your skill set, with your help we can better serve our community! Working with Harsha has been such a motivating experience. At many points I felt to give up on the whole college dynamic; Harsha kept on pushing me and giving me reasons to stay motivated and determined when it came to applying for college. It wasn’t a walk in the park, but it was easier with the help of her courageous ways. Her writing skills are spectacular and I obtained so much from her. She taught me to always stay determined and focus until I succeed in my goal. With her help, I got accepted into 2 colleges in Holland, which I am more than grateful for. Being apart from EmpowerU showed me that everyone has the potential to be the best version of themselves and anyone can accomplish their goals when they put their full attention and focus on what they want, stay persistent, and never quit.
